Wade went 1-for-4 with a grand slam in a 9-3 victory versus the Rangers on Saturday.
EDGE Analysis
Wade struck out twice and was subbed out on defense in the seventh inning, but he made a big impact with one swing when he clubbed a grand slam to right field in the third inning. That was the veteran outfielder's second homer in nine games in the majors this season. Since returning from an IL stint caused by a hamstring injury July 4, Wade has started all five of Houston's games against a right-handed pitcher, so he appears to have a hold on a strong-side platoon role in left field.

Wade is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Nationals.
EDGE Analysis
Wade will join fellow left-handed hitters Braden Shewmake and Taylor Trammell on the bench while the Astros stock up on some extra right-handed bats to counter Nationals southpaw Foster Griffin. Zach Dezenzo will replace Wade in left field and will bat eighth.

Wade will start in left field and bat fifth in Monday's game against the Nationals, Chandler Rome of The Athletic reports.
EDGE Analysis
Wade will pick up a third straight start in left field, despite going 0-for-6 with three strikeouts over the final two games of the Astros' weekend series versus the Rays. After the Astros sent Joey Loperfido back to Triple-A Sugar Land on Saturday, Wade looks like he'll have an opportunity to solidify himself as a strong-side platoon player in the Houston outfield.

The Astros reinstated Wade (hamstring) from the 10-day injured list Saturday.
EDGE Analysis
Wade has fully recovered from a right hamstring strain that landed him on the 10-day IL in early June. He joined the Astros on June 4 after being released by the White Sox three days prior, and he could see some reps in the outfield after Houston optioned both Jake Meyers and Joey Loperfido to Triple-A Sugar Land in corresponding moves.

Wade (hamstring) will begin a rehab assignment with Triple-A Sugar Land on Tuesday, Matt Kawahara of the Houston Chronicle reports.
EDGE Analysis
Wade is ready to test things out in a game setting after missing the past three weeks with a right hamstring strain. He shouldn't need too many rehab games before rejoining the Astros' active roster, perhaps as soon as Friday's series opener against the Rays.

Wade (hamstring) has resumed taking batting practice and shagging flyballs and is expected to head out on a minor-league rehab assignment soon, MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Houston deactivated Wade on the 10-day injured list June 9 after he was diagnosed with a right hamstring injury, but his ability to take part in baseball activities just over a week later suggests that he's dealing with just a mild strain. Wade likely won't need more than a handful of rehab games to prove his health, so he could return from the IL before the end of June if the Astros have room for him on the active roster.

The Astros placed Wade on the 10-day injured list Tuesday with a right hamstring strain, Brian McTaggart of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Wade suffered the injury during Monday's game versus the Angels while legging out a double. It's unclear at this point how severe the strain is, but even a mild one could result in longer than a minimum 10-day absence. Joey Loperfido will take Wade's spot on the active roster.

Wade left Monday's game against the Angels with right hamstring soreness, Brian McTaggart of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Wade appeared to suffer the injury while legging out a double in the top half of the sixth inning, and he needed to come out of the game immediately after. He can be considered day-to-day until the club has a chance to evaluate him further. Brice Matthews entered the game in Wade's place.

Wade went 3-for-5 with a home run, a double, two total runs and three total RBI in a 13-2 romp over the Athletics on Saturday.
EDGE Analysis
Wade joined Houston on a one-year contract Thursday and went 0-for-4 in his season debut that evening. The veteran outfielder turned in a much more impactful performance in his second contest with his new club, with his big hits being a solo homer in the second inning and a two-run double in the fifth. Wade seems likely to get occasional starts in left field with the Astros, though he'll probably need to string together an extended productive run to get a chance at seeing regular playing time.

The Astros signed Wade to a one-year contract Thursday, Chandler Rome of The Athletic reports.
EDGE Analysis
Wade slashed .250/.420/.441 with seven home runs over 201 plate appearances at Triple-A Charlotte in the White Sox organization before exercising an opt-out clause in his minor-league deal. The 32-year-old's best path to at-bats in Houston is in left field, but he'll likely be primarily relegated to a reserve role.
