White recorded five tackles (one solo) and was credited with a quarterback hit during the Buccaneers' 21-3 loss to the Panthers in Week 7.
EDGE Analysis
White had a very quiet game by his standards, especially on the solo-tackle front. The talented linebacker is also an integral part of a defense that has become surprisingly vulnerable to the run, a foreboding weakness with Lamar Jackson and the Ravens' ground attack paying a visit for a Thursday night Week 8 battle.

White registered eight tackles (three solo) and one pass defense during Sunday's 20-18 loss to the Steelers.
EDGE Analysis
White, who's recorded at least five tackles in each of the first six games of the season, finished second on the team in tackles behind Lavonte David (13) during Sunday's loss. Across six appearances, White has totaled 48 stops, four pass defenses, three sacks and one forced fumble.

White recoded five tackles (three solo), including one for loss, and two quarterback hits during Sunday's 21-15 win over the Falcons.
EDGE Analysis
Compared to his usual production, it was a relatively quiet game for the star linebacker, but he's still a top-tier option after totaling 40 tackles, three sacks, three pass defenses and one forced fumble through five games. He'll look to get back on track against the Steelers in Week 6.

White recorded 11 tackles and one pass defensed in Sunday's 41-31 loss to the Chiefs.
EDGE Analysis
White continues to display elite linebacker play through Week 4, as he's now up to 35 tackles, three sacks, three passes defensed and one forced fumble on the year. The fourth-year pro played every single defensive snap Sunday versus Kansas City, and he'll look to add another productive outing when the Buccaneers host the Falcons on Sunday.

White generated five tackles (three solo) during the Buccaneers' 14-12 loss to the Packers in Week 3.
EDGE Analysis
The standout linebacker had collected a whopping 19 stops, including three sacks, over the first two contests of the season, so Week 3 marked what would qualify as a sub-par performance by White's lofty standards. However, the fourth-year pro naturally remains an elite IDP option and could well boost his numbers right back up in a Week 4 showdown against the Chiefs.

White recorded 11 tackles (seven solo), including one sack, and one pass defensed in the Buccaneers' 20-10 win over the Saints on Sunday.
EDGE Analysis
White paced the Buccaneers in tackles for the second time in as many games to open the season, boosting his Week 1 total by three stops overall. The 24-year-old's takedown of Jameis Winston also pushed his sack total to three over two games, putting him just a half-sack behind his 2021 tally over 17 contests. White would probably be the first to concede the Saints were able to have some success running in his direction with Mark Ingram in the earlier portion of Sunday's contest, but given his prior body of work, that's largely an outlier. White could be in for another busy afternoon again in Week 3 with the Packers' elite Aaron Jones-AJ Dillon duo coming to town.

White recorded eight tackles (seven solo), including two sacks, and was also credited with a defensed pass in a 19-3 win over the Cowboys on Sunday night.
EDGE Analysis
White found himself in the familiar position of producing a team-high tackle total while also recording his first sacks since Week 14 of last season. The standout linebacker had just 3.5 quarterback takedowns in 2021 after amassing a career-high 9.0 in Tampa Bay's 2020 championship campaign, but if Sunday night's performance is any indication, White could be set to reintroduce that aspect of his IDP profile in a significant way this season.

White consistently made an impact during the second day of joint practices with the Dolphins on Thursday, Brianna Dix of the team's official site reports.
EDGE Analysis
The talented linebacker has vowed to be even more consistent in his fourth season, and he's laying the groundwork for taking his already impressive body of work to another level with a strong training camp. White especially stood out Thursday while facing an opponent other than his own teammates, making his presence felt in coverage with back-to-back pass breakups on throws intended for Myles Gaskin and Hunter Long and also doing his typically superior job against the run. White was once again a jewel of IDP circles in 2021 with 128 tackles, 3.5 sacks and three defensed passes, but he didn't force a turnover for the first time in his three-year career.

Tampa Bay informed White on Wednesday that his fifth-year team option for 2023 will be exercised, Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reports.
EDGE Analysis
The Buccaneers' decision to pick up White's $11.706 million option comes just one day before the 2022 NFL Draft and gives the team an additional year to negotiate with him on a longer-term extension. Though White's production took a step back in 2021 (128 tackles, 3.5 sacks) compared to 2020 (140 tackles, 9.0 sacks), White is certainly viewed as a major pillar of Tampa Bay's defensive scheme.

White totaled eight tackles (four solo), including one for loss, and a defensed pass during the Buccaneers' 30-27 divisional-round loss to the Rams on Sunday.
EDGE Analysis
The Buccaneers' hopes for a second consecutive Super Bowl title were crushed Sunday, but White at least will head into the offseason with a little momentum after a mysterious statistical slump over the previous four games. The standout linebacker recorded no more than five stops in any of those contests, but his total Sunday was good for third highest on the team for the afternoon. Despite the late-season funk, White indisputably is an indispensable component of the team's defense, but if coordinator Todd Bowles were to leave for a head coaching position elsewhere, the third-year pro's role could be subject to some change.
