Ray (wrist) is expected to miss at least one or two games to start the regular season following surgery, Mike Klis of 9News reports.
EDGE Analysis
Ray suffered form a torn ligament in his left wrist back in late July and looks to be sticking to his original timetable of 6-to-8 weeks following surgery. With Shaq Barrett also expected to be out to start the regular season, the Broncos are heading into the regular season shorthanded at outside linebacker.

Ray tore a ligament in his left wrist and is expected to be sidelined for 6-to-8 weeks, Nicki Jhabvala of The Denver Post reports.
EDGE Analysis
Ray's injury is a tough blow as he embarks on his third NFL season. The edge rusher will require surgery and is consequently likely to miss the start of the regular season. While Shaq Barrett is usually Ray's partner in playing opposite Von Miller, a hip injury is expected to sideline him until September. As a result, the Broncos are suddenly short handed at outside linebacker.

Ray posted a sack along with seven tackles Sunday against the Falcons.
EDGE Analysis
Although he's been quiet in the majority of his games to start the season, he's had a pair of big games over his last three matchups. In Week 3, he sacked Andy Dalton three times while notching six tackles, and his second this week's contest brought him up to four on the season. The second-year player has exceptional ability to get to the quarterback, and he's potentially a high-upside option in IDP leagues.

Ray tallied six tackles, three sacks and two tackles for a loss in Sunday's win over Cincinnati.
EDGE Analysis
Last year's first-round pick was relentless while filling in for DeMarcus Ware, but it can't be said that it came out of nowhere. Ray was seen by some as a potential top 10 pick last year before an indiscretion involving marijuana pushed him down draft boards. Ray will have at least a few more weeks to shine with Ware out of the lineup and, given the Broncos' plans to keep Ware on a snap limit this season to begin with, it's quite possible that Ray will be able to sneak into the starting lineup in base packages even when the veteran returns.

Ray will fill DeMarcus Ware's role while the veteran is out with a fractured forearm, Broncos' official site reports.
EDGE Analysis
Ware is expected to miss about a month, so there will be plenty of opportunity for last year's first-round pick to solidify his role opposite Von Miller, Shaq Barrett serving as the most obvious challenger. Ray finished Sunday's game with just one tackle, but scooped up a fumble recovery and scored to put the game out of reach. He racked up four sacks in reserve duty in 2015 and made an impact in Super Bowl 50 by forcing a fumble.

Ray (knee) is listed as probable for Sunday's game against the Chiefs.
EDGE Analysis
Ray was limited to begin the week, but went through a full practice session Friday, making him likely to play this weekend. With DeMarcus Ware (back) out, having Ray available would figure to boost the Broncos' pass-rushing ranks.

Ray (knee) returned to practice on Wednesday and is expected to play Sunday.
EDGE Analysis
Wednesday was Ray's first time on the practice field since he suffered a strained medical collateral ligament on October 18. Head coach Gary Kubiak said he expects Ray to be ready for Sunday's game against the Chiefs.

Ray suffered a knee injury Sunday against the Browns, and the initial diagnosis of an MCL sprain could sideline him for up to six weeks, according to ESPN's Josina Anderson.
EDGE Analysis
Ray got the start Sunday for the injured DeMarcus Ware (back), and his absence pushed Lerentee McCray into a more prominent role in the pass rush.

Updating an earlier note, Ray (knee) is out for the remainder of the game Sunday against the Browns, Tony Renck of the Denver Post reports.
EDGE Analysis
With Ray out, Lerentee McCray, who is the third-string strong side linebacker, has taken over on the weak side.

Ray (ankle/leg) left the game Sunday against the Browns, Tony Renck of the Denver Post reports.
EDGE Analysis
Ray, who is starting for DeMarcus Ware, will leave the Denver front-seven a bit weaker. Lerentee McCray, who is the third-string strong side linebacker, will take over on the weak side for now.
