Stewart (foot) was a full practice participant Thursday, Jourdan Rodrigue of The Charlotte Observer reports.
EDGE Analysis
The Panthers have been deliberate with their usage of Stewart and Christian McCaffrey this season. Due to his varied skill set, McCaffrey has earned 68.4 percent of the offensive snaps, seeing 12.2 combined touches per game. Meanwhile, Stewart's share is 40.1 percent of the snaps on offense, which has translated to an average of 13.7 carries per. Despite his health not a question mark for Sunday's game, he'll find the going tough against the Vikings' second-ranked run defense.

Stewart (foot) participated in practice Thursday, Bryan Strickland of the Panthers' official site reports.
EDGE Analysis
Foot concerns have plagued Stewart in the past, but his return to drills Thursday is a step in the right direction to avoid any missed time. Aside from a 40-snap workload Week 5, his snap count has ranged from 21 to 29 in every other game this season, during which he's averaged 13.7 carries for 44.3 yards per game while scoring four combined touchdowns in 12 contests. Meanwhile, rookie Christian McCaffrey has received the larger share of backfield reps but primarily acted as a pass catcher. With their roles clearly defined, Stewart will continue to receive most of the work on the ground, assuming his health checks out by game day.

Stewart (ankle) isn't practicing Wednesday, David Newton of ESPN.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Stewart took 11 carries for 45 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 31-21 loss to the Saints, with his final touch of the day coming on the second snap after halftime. He apparently picked up an ankle injury along the way, but his lack of playing time in the second half presumably had more to do with game context as the Panthers relied on Christian McCaffrey while trying to erase a multi-score deficit. Even if the ankle injury isn't significant, Stewart could find himself in a similar position this weekend against a 10-2 Minnesota team that surrenders only 3.5 yards per carry and 77.7 rushing yards per game.

Stewart took 11 carries for 45 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 31-21 loss to the Saints.
EDGE Analysis
Stewart got off to a fast start and scored from two yards out on the opening drive, but he went quiet in the second half when the Panthers were forced to play from behind. With just six catches all season and a lowly mark of 3.2 yards per carry, Stewart largely depends on goal-line touchdowns for his production. A Week 14 matchup with the Minnesota defense is sub-optimal for his role.

Stewart ran for 26 yards and a touchdown on 15 carries in Sunday's 35-27 win over the Jets.
EDGE Analysis
Stewart's two-yard plunge in the third quarter gave Carolina a lead and snapped a two-game scoreless streak. The veteran back has had 15 or more touches in back-to-back games for the first time since Weeks 1 and 2, but it's fair to wonder when Carolina will turn the keys over to rookie Christian McCaffrey. Stewart has more games with under two yards per carry (four) this season that games with four or more yards per carry (three).

Stewart rushed 17 times for 110 yards in Monday night's 45-21 win over the Dolphins.
EDGE Analysis
Stewart followed last week's uncharacteristic, two-fumble outing by having his best performance of the season. Prior to Monday, the veteran hadn't topped 50 yards since Week 4, and had totaled just 120 yards in five games since then. Although backup Cameron Artis-Payne was mixed in for a 12-yard touchdown during the fourth quarter, Stewart should still be rather satisfied with his latest showing, which will see him enter Carolina's bye week on a high note.

Stewart rushed 11 times for 21 yards and lost two fumbles in Sunday's 20-17 win over the Falcons.
EDGE Analysis
Stewart's day got off to a rough start, as the veteran coughed the ball up in Falcons territory on back-to-back drives during the first quarter. With those miscues being uncharacteristic of the 10-year vet, Stewart still was handed double-digit carries, as he's been all but once this season. Despite that workload, however, Stewart has now failed to top 50 rushing yards in five straight games. In contrast, rookie Christian McCaffrey was given a career-high 15 totes Sunday, resulting in 66 yards and a score. As a result, it wouldn't be surprising if Stewart is relied on less going forward.

Stewart (toe) practiced in full Thursday, Steve Reed of the Associated Press reports.
EDGE Analysis
For four weeks running, the Panthers have included Stewart on the injury report, but he hasn't logged anything less than a limited practice at this point. With his health not in question again, he's poised to act as the Panthers' primary running back, which has afforded him 13.8 carries per game this season. If the trade of Kelvin Benjamin spurs the offense to throw downfield more often, Stewart may actually have more room to operate moving forward.

Stewart (toe) was a limited practice participant Wednesday, Jourdan Rodrigue of The Charlotte Observer reports.
EDGE Analysis
A toe injury is impacting Stewart's practice reps for a second consecutive week, but the regimen is in place to keep the veteran running back as fresh as possible for the bulk of the season. On Sunday in Tampa Bay, he proceeded to reach the end zone for the first time since Week 1, only this touchdown marked his first on the ground since the finale of the 2016 campaign. Assuming he reaches the weekend unscathed, Stewart will be taking on a Falcons defense that has given up 4.2 YPC and five total touchdowns to running backs through seven games.

Stewart rushed 11 times for 34 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 17-3 win over the Buccaneers.
EDGE Analysis
Stewart opened the scoring with a one-yard leap over a goal-line pile during the first quarter. That play marked Stewart's first rushing touchdown of the season, and his first end-zone trip since his receiving score in Week 1. Although the veteran, who was limited during the practice week due to a lower body issue, still hasn't topped 50 yards since Week 4, his trip to pay dirt Sunday at least serves as a positive development.
