Jaguars promoted DE John Chick from the practice squad. The Jags need all the pass rushing help they can get after recording just two sacks in the entire exhibition season. Chick will play a situational role at defensive end if he's active this week.

Colts waived DE John Chick. The CFL's Most Outstanding Defensive Player in 2009, Chick has been in Colts camp the past two summers without appearing in an NFL game.
