Elflein injured his hamstring in the first half of the Panthers' Week 2 win over the Saints. After getting ruled out of Week 3 action, the offensive guard landed on the Panthers' injured reserve. Elflein was activated from injured reserve Wednesday and figures to play a key role Sunday if he's able to suit up. If he is unable to play against the Patriots, expect Dennis Daley to continue to hold down the fort at left guard.
