The Panthers designated Elflein (hamstring) to return from injured reserve Wednesday, Darin Gantt of the Panthers' official site reports.
EDGE Analysis
Elflein suffered the injury in Week 2 and has been on injured reserve since. The Ohio State product will have a 21-day window to be added to the active roster, but, if he isn't, he will return to injured reserve for the remainder of the season.
