EDGE Analysis

This was Harper's second game in a row with seven assists, nearly double his season average (3.8). The rookie from Rutgers has four performances with an assist total greater than seven so far this year, as he continues to develop off the bench. Harper also played the most minutes of any Spurs player Thursday as San Antonio led comfortably throughout.

Harper accumulated 15 points (7-11 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 0-2 FT), five rebounds, seven assists and two steals over 29 minutes during Wednesday's 110-107 win over the Raptors.

EDGE Analysis

Harper scored double digits for the sixth time in his past seven games, continuing to push his case for more playing time. While there is certainly a case to be made for Harper playing a more significant role, at this point, it appears as though he is more of a schedule play than a must-roster player.

Harper ended Thursday's 121-94 win over the Suns with 17 points (7-11 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 1-2 FT), one rebound, one assist and one steal across 26 minutes.

EDGE Analysis

Harper paced the San Antonio bench in scoring and continued to see a healthy workload Thursday after averaging 26.3 minutes per game in his last three appearances before the All-Star break. He's scored in double figures in four straight matchups, though he failed to contribute much outside of the scoring column in the comfortable victory over Phoenix.

Harper had eight points (2-5 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 2-2 FT), five rebounds and one assist across nine minutes in Team Melo's 25-24 loss to Team Vince in the Rising Stars championship game Friday.

The 19-year-old guard led all players in points and tied the game high in rebounds during the championship game, though it wasn't enough to power Team Melo past VJ Edgecombe and Team Vince. Harper also hit the game-winning jumper over his older brother Ron Harper in the semifinals and finished with four points (2-5 FG, 0-2 3Pt), one rebound and one steal in Team Melo's 40-34 win over Team Austin.

Harper finished with 15 points (6-8 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 3-3 FT), three rebounds, six assists and one steal over 27 minutes off the bench during Tuesday's 136-108 win over the Lakers.

EDGE Analysis

It was another strong effort from the No. 2 pick in the 2025 NBA Draft. Harper has scored at least 15 points in four of his last six games, averaging 14.3 points, 3.8 boards, 3.8 assists and 1.0 blocks in 23.7 minutes over that stretch while shooting 62.7 percent from the floor. Stephon Castle checked out of Tuesday's rout early due to a pelvic contusion after a hard landing on a dunk attempt, playing only 12 minutes, and if he's forced to sit out Wednesday's contest against the Warriors, Harper will have a lot of DFS appeal.
