Klein was recalled from Triple-A Lehigh Valley and is scheduled to Start Wednesday's game against the Giants.
EDGE Analysis
Wednesday's game will be the first MLB start of the season for Klein, who's typically used as a reliever. He's been pitching very well with Lehigh Valley, posting a 2.13 ERA and 1.03 WHIP over 25.1 innings. However, he's struggled during his limited time in The Show this year, allowing five runs over just 8.2 innings.

Klein was claimed off waivers by the Phillies on Sunday, Evan Grant of the Dallas Morning News reports.
EDGE Analysis
Klein will make his way to the 40-man roster, but according to Matt Gelb of the Philadelphia Inquirer, he'll begin his tenure with the organization at the Triple-A level. The right-hander hasn't been particularly effective for the Rangers this year, so perhaps a change of scenery is what Klein needs to improve upon his 5.19 season ERA.

Klein was designated for assignment Thursday, John Blake of the Rangers front office reports.
EDGE Analysis
This move was made in order to make room for Robinson Chirinos on the 40-man roster after being activated from the disabled list Thursday. Klein was optioned to Triple-A Round Rock on Friday after giving up five earned runs during 2.1 innings of work his past three appearances with the Rangers. The 27-year-old is useful as organizational depth, but has struggled during his time in the majors.

Klein was optioned to Triple-A Round Rock on Friday, Jeff Wilson of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram reports.
EDGE Analysis
Anthony Ranaudo will come up to replace Klein, who gave up five runs in his last appearances to bring his ERA to 5.19. The 27-year-old Klein did post a 12:2 K:BB in his 8.2 frames with the big club, but it's hard to imagine him working into a prominent role in the Rangers' bullpen at any point this season.

Klein was recalled by the Rangers on Thursday, Evan Grant of the Dallas Morning News reports.
EDGE Analysis
Fellow reliever Keone Kela was placed on the 15-day disabled list Thursday with an elbow impingement, so Klein will join the Rangers to take his spot out of the bullpen. Klein made the Rangers' Opening Day roster before being optioned last week for Alex Claudio. He had been stretching out as a starter at Triple-A, so Klein could have a long relief role during his stint with the Rangers.

Klein will stretch out at Triple-A Round Rock to position himself as a possible long reliever/spot start if needed, MLB.com's T.R Sullivan reports.
EDGE Analysis
Klein had pitched just three innings during his ten-day stint in the majors and is expected to get more regular work in the minors.

Klein was optioned to Triple-A Round Rock on Wednesday, Jeff Wilson of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram reports.
EDGE Analysis
The Rangers added another left-hander to the bullpen Wednesday by recalling Alex Claudio, but that move bumped Klein back down to Triple-A. Klein made the Rangers' Opening Day roster and had thrown 3.0 scoreless innings over two appearances this season before being optioned. He figures to work out of the bullpen at Round Rock and will likely be called up again later in the season.

Klein has officially made the Ranger's Opening Day roster, Stefan Stevenson of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram reports.
EDGE Analysis
Klein will open as an option out of the pen in long relief after spending much of 2015 at Triple-A. The 26-year-old made 11 appearances for Texas last season, posting a 6.75 ERA across 17.1 innings.

Klein was optioned to Triple-A Round Rock on Thursday, Anthony Andro of FOX Sports reports. With Ross Detwiler (shoulder) expected to rejoin the rotation this weekend, the Rangers will swap out Klein for 22-year-old shortstop Hanser Alberto, who doesn't offer much upside. Klein posted impressive numbers as a relief pitcher in the minor leagues the past few seasons, and he seemingly has a future in the Texas bullpen, if the ongoing experiment with starting doesn't work out.

Klein will get another turn in the Rangers' rotation if Ross Detwiler (shoulder) is unable to come off the DL this weekend, MLB Network Radio reports. Detwiler is expected to come off the DL this weekend, so Klein's run in the rotation is likely over. However, his six-run outing Monday was apparently not enough to dissuade the Rangers of using him as the backup option Saturday if Detwiler cannot take the ball.
