Voit hit a solo home run in his only at-bat during Thursday's 6-4 loss to Toronto.
EDGE Analysis
The 30-year-old pinch hit for Tyler Wade in the ninth inning and went back-to-back with Gary Sanchez, but that only got the Yankees back within two runs. Voit hadn't hit a homer since Aug. 27, although he's received just 26 at-bats across 11 games in that time. Playing time will likely be hard to come by for Voit despite his solid .253/.333/.442 slash line in 213 plate appearances. With Anthony Rizzo manning first base and Giancarlo Stanton alternating between right field and designated hitter frequently, Voit's been limited to a part-time role in the lineup.

Voit isn't starting Thursday's game against the Blue Jays.
EDGE Analysis
The 30-year-old will be out of the lineup for the fourth time in the last six games since Giancarlo Stanton will serve as the designated hitter. Voit has gone 1-for-14 with a run, a walk and six strikeouts across his last six appearances.

Voit is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Blue Jays.
EDGE Analysis
With Giancarlo Stanton occupying the designated hitter spot rather than right field, Voit will head to the bench for the second time in the series. Voit looks to be fighting Brett Gardner for one spot in the Yankees' everyday lineup.

Voit is out of the lineup for Monday's game against the Blue Jays.
EDGE Analysis
Voit is no longer a full-time player for the Yankees with Anthony Rizzo taking over primary duties at first base, but the former still looks to be locked into a near-everyday role at designated hitter. However, with the Yankees giving Giancarlo Stanton a break from outfield duties and having him serve as a DH in Monday's series opener, Voit will be forced to the bench as a result.

Voit is not in the lineup for Saturday's game against the Orioles.
EDGE Analysis
Last season's home-run leader is now a part-time player after the Yankees brought in both Anthony Rizzo and Joey Gallo at the trade deadline. Voit has logged only 21 at-bats since Aug. 22, collecting four hits, including two for extra bases (one homer), while striking out 11 times. He has a .779 OPS in 52 games so far this year.

Voit finds himself on the bench for the second straight day after being in the starting nine for the previous three games. Brett Gardner will again start in the outfield while Giancarlo Stanton serves as the designated hitter.

Voit is out of the lineup Monday against the Angels.
EDGE Analysis
Voit started the past three games and will take a seat after going 2-for-11 with a solo homer and six strikeouts in that stretch. Giancarlo Stanton will serve as the designated hitter while Brett Gardner joins the outfield mix Monday.

Voit will start at first base and bat fifth Sunday against the Athletics.
EDGE Analysis
Voit's rest-of-season outlook appeared to take a significant hit when the Yankees acquired another established everyday first baseman in Anthony Rizzo on July 29, but the former will close out the weekend with three consecutive starts. Though he'll displace the slumping Rizzo at first base Sunday, the designated hitter spot looks like it'll be Voit's ticket to holding down a semi-regular role in the lineup. Though Giancarlo Stanton has occupied the DH spot for the majority of the season, manager Aaron Boone has increased Stanton's exposure to the outfield of late in an effort for the Yankees to trot out all of their top hitters. Stanton started in right field both of the past two games, allowing Voit to get a pair of turns at DH.

Voit went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Friday's 8-2 victory over Oakland.
EDGE Analysis
Voit mashed a 437-foot solo shot to center field in the fourth inning off Sean Manaea. Prior to Friday, the slugger hadn't started since Aug. 21 -- largely due to the Yankees playing in an NL park -- though he did appear off the bench three times in that span. Voit has gone deep five times in 55 at-bats since returning from the injured list Aug. 8 and is batting .309 with 18 RBI over that stretch.

Voit is not starting in Thursday's lineup against the Athletics.
EDGE Analysis
Voit was out of the lineup early in the week as the team was in Atlanta and did not have the benefit of a designated hitter. While his absence now extends an additional game, manager Aaron Boone said that Voit is likely to be in the lineup throughout the rest of the team's weekend series at Oakland.
