Pence went 1-for-4 with a double and two RBI in Wednesday's 4-3 loss to Boston.
EDGE Analysis
Pence gave Texas an early lead with a two-run double in the first inning, giving him four RBI over the last two games. He's emerged from a part-time player in April to become the Rangers' leading RBI man with 45. Despite the unexpected contributions, Pence's playing time may take a hit when Joey Gallo (oblique) and Willie Calhoun (quadriceps) return from injury. The Rangers issued good reports on each injured player Wednesday, noting Calhoun is set to begin a rehab assignment Thursday while Gallo is swinging a bat.

Pence went 1-for-2 with a home run, three walks, two RBI and three runs scored Tuesday against the Red Sox.
EDGE Analysis
Pence worked a free pass in each of his first three plate appearances, coming around to score twice. He added an inside-the-park home run in the sixth inning, lacing a line drive to right field that was misplayed by Brock Holt. It went down as his 14th home run of the season, and third in his last six contests. Pence has turned back the clock to 2013 with his performance to this point in the season, hitting .284/.345/.585 across 203 plate appearances.

Pence is not in the lineup for the second game of Saturday's doubleheader versus the Athletics.
EDGE Analysis
Pence will head to the bench after going 0-for-4 with a stolen base and a run scored in the matinee. The 36-year-old seemed likely to lose out on some playing time following Willie Calhoun's promotion in mid-May, but Pence has remained a lineup fixture with Calhoun on the injured list with a quad injury.

Pence went 1-for-4 with a solo home run during Thursday's 4-3 win over the Orioles.
EDGE Analysis
Pence got the home team on the board in the second inning with a solo shot to left field, ending his nine-game stretch without a home run. The veteran continues to play every day with some key hitters currently injured and will hope to maintain the form that has made him such an important piece of the lineup in the early going. Pence will look to build on this effort in the next series at home against the Athletics.

Pence went 2-for-3 with a pair of walks, a double, two runs, two RBI and a stolen base Tuesday in the Rangers' 11-4 win over the Mariners.
EDGE Analysis
Both of Pence's RBI came in the Rangers' seven-run fifth inning, which proved to be the difference in the final outcome. Though he's delivered most of his value this season through his .308 average and 11 home runs, Pence showed he can still make an impact on the bases when given the green light. He and Shin-Soo Choo both nabbed bags in the seventh inning in a double steal, giving Pence his second theft of the campaign. The veteran will be back in the lineup for Wednesday's day game, starting in left field and serving as the Rangers' cleanup hitter.

Pence went 2-for-5 with a home run, double and two RBI while scoring twice in a loss to the Angels on Sunday.
EDGE Analysis
Pence continues to mash the ball, slugging his 11th home run and increasing his season RBI total to 35. He has been particularly hot over his last 16 games, hitting eight home runs and batting .317 (20-for-63) over that stretch. After struggling the last two seasons in San Francisco, Pence has enjoyed a career resurgence this year in Texas, as evidenced by his .309/.356/.650 slash line.

Pence went 2-for-4 with a double, a two-run single and a run in a win over the Angels on Friday.
EDGE Analysis
Pence hit a leadoff double and scored a run in the sixth inning to bring the Rangers within one. He then singled on a sharp line drive to center to score another pair of runs and give the Rangers the lead for good in the seventh inning. The 36-year-old continues to prove himself as a key piece in the Texas lineup after struggling in San Francisco last year. He's now batting .316/.365/.649 with 10 home runs, 33 RBI and 25 runs scored.

Pence went 2-for-4 with a solo home run and two runs scored Wednesday against the Mariners.
EDGE Analysis
Pence took Marco Gonzales deep in the sixth inning, accounting for what proved to be the game-winning run. It was his 10th home run of the season, already more than double the number he produced across the entirety of the 2018 season. It's been a resurgent season for Pence as he's hitting .312/.364/.651 across 121 plate appearances. While it would have been difficult to sit Pence given the way he's currently hitting, Willie Calhoun's (quad) injury will allow Pence to continue collecting regular at-bats.

Pence went 2-for-4 with a home run and two RBI in Monday's 10-9 win over the Mariners.
EDGE Analysis
It seemed like Monday would be a good spot for the left-handed-hitting Willie Calhoun. Seattle was throwing right-hander Mike Leake, but Pence got the call based on his success against Leake (16-for-42, .381). At some point, Texas manager Chris Woodward may want to focus more on Calhoun's development in the majors than getting at-bats for the 36-year-old Pence.

Pence is out of Saturday's lineup against the Cardinals.
EDGE Analysis
Pence will sit for the second time since Willie Calhoun was promoted from Triple-A on Wednesday. While his production this season has been excellent, the rebuilding Rangers figure to continue to prioritize getting Calhoun at-bats, so Pence may sit a couple times per week going forward.
