EDGE Analysis
Boshers has already spent time with the Twins this season, compiling a 3.00 ERA and 1:1 K:BB across three innings of relief. The 29-year-old will offer another arm for a tired Twins bullpen, though he still likely won't see any high-leverage innings.

Boshers was recalled from Triple-A Rochester.
EDGE Analysis
Boshers had thrown just 3.2 innings at Triple-A and allowed three earned runs. Boshers has been a career minor league journeyman, but appeared to turn his career around last season with improved control (walks have been a major issue), so he could stick in the major league bullpen.

Boshers was optioned to Triple-A Rochester on Tuesday, Mike Berardino of the St. Paul Pioneer Press reports.
EDGE Analysis
The lefty was in contention for a bullpen gig with the big club, but an awful spring (10.61 ERA, 1.93 WHIP in 9.1 innings) effectively undermined his chances. He'll look to find success at Rochester before potentially receiving a promotion when the Twins are in need of another lefty reliever at some point later in the season.

Boshers threw a scoreless inning in Thursday's spring training win over Philadelphia. However, he has a 7.56 ERA this spring and allowed two home runs in 8.1 innings.
EDGE Analysis
Boshers does have eight strikeouts in 8.1 innings, but he may be the odd man out in the bullpen and begin the season in Triple-A. Still, he has some upside since the minor league journeyman appeared to turn his career around last year with a a 10.0 K/9 at Triple-A and improved his historically poor control (8 BB/9 compared to a 3.7 BB/9 career rate in the minors).

Boshers (elbow) will begin a rehab assignment with Triple-A Rochester on Monday, Rhett Bollinger of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Boshers landed on the disabled list earlier in August, but an MRI revealed no structural damage and it now appears he could be in line to return within short order. It's unclear how lengthy a rehab stint he'll require, but once activated he'll provide a lower-leverage left-handed option out of the club's bullpen.
