Bello (6-5) took the loss Friday as the Red Sox fell 5-2 to the Dodgers, giving up three runs on six hits and two walks over 5.1 innings. He struck out five.
EDGE Analysis
The right-hander didn't get much run support, but Bello didn't help his own cause in a shaky third inning that included a bases-loaded walk to Teoscar Hernandez after three straight singles. The outing snapped Bello's quality start streak at three, and it's only the second time in 10 trips to the mound since the beginning of June that he hasn't lasted six innings, a stretch in which he's delivered a 3.00 ERA, 1.06 WHIP and 50:15 K:BB over 63 innings. Bello will look for a better result in his next start, which lines up to come on the road next week in Minnesota.

Bello (6-4) took the loss Saturday, allowing three runs on six hits and one walk over six innings in a 6-0 loss to the Cubs. He struck out four.
EDGE Analysis
The right-hander delivered a quality start Saturday, despite surrendering first-inning homers to Michael Busch and Kyle Tucker. Bello has put together a strong 2025 campaign, posting a 3.23 ERA and 1.27 WHIP over 97.2 innings across 17 appearances (16 starts).

Bello (6-3) earned the win in Sunday's game against Tampa Bay, yielding one run on six hits and no walks over 6.1 innings. He struck out five.
EDGE Analysis
The only blemish on the Boston right-hander's performance came on a Josh Lowe sacrifice fly in the fourth inning, as he scattered one double and five singles. With this 105-pitch effort, during which he fired 73 strikes, Bello extended his recent stretch of solid pitching performances. Dating back to May 23, the 26-year-old has made 10 appearances without conceding three or more earned runs over which he's tallied seven quality starts and pitched to a 2.69 ERA, 1.06 WHIP and 50:15 K:BB across 60.1 frames. Through 92.1 total innings, Bello sports a 3.14 ERA, 1.28 WHIP and 70:34 K:BB while allowing nine homers.

Bello (5-3) allowed two runs on five hits and a walk over nine innings Tuesday, striking out 10 and earning a win over Colorado.
EDGE Analysis
Bello was outstanding Tuesday, carrying a shutout into the ninth inning before Hunter Goodman belted a two-run shot. It was the first nine-inning complete game of Bello's career, and he completed it with an efficient 76 strikes on 107 total pitches. He forced 15 whiffs, including six with his sweeper, and produced his first double-digit strikeout performance since July 2024. Bello has registered a 2.83 ERA over his last nine starts and will carry a 3.27 ERA and a 65:34 K:BB into his next outing, which is lined up for this weekend at home against the Rays.

Bello (4-3) allowed two earned runs on one hit and one walk over five innings out of the bullpen and scooped up a win in the Red Sox's 5-3 victory over the Reds on Wednesday in the continuation of a game that was suspended Tuesday. He struck out three batters in the 62-pitch appearance.
EDGE Analysis
Rather than having Bello start the regularly scheduled game for Wednesday, the Red Sox had the right-hander take the hill in the top of the fourth inning for the suspended game from Tuesday. Making what was his first relief appearance since 2022, Bello entered the contest with the Red Sox up 2-1, but Boston quickly fell behind after he served up a one-out, two-run home run to Spencer Steer in the fourth. Bello buckled down thereafter, however, retiring 13 of the final 15 batters he faced and inducing inning-ending double plays in the seventh and eighth. The Red Sox were able to plate the tie-breaking run in the bottom of the eighth to put Bello in line for the win before closer Aroldis Chapman finished out the contest with a scoreless ninth. Bello will return to a traditional starting role for his next appearance, which is expected to come during next week's series with the Rockies at Fenway Park.

Bello is scheduled to take the hill Wednesday when the Red Sox and Reds resume their game from Tuesday that was suspended in the top of the fourth inning, Mac Cerullo of the Boston Herald reports.
EDGE Analysis
Bello had been lined up to start the regularly scheduled game at 7:10 p.m. ET, but he'll instead pitch in the suspended game in what will mark his first appearance as a reliever since 2022. Because the game will resume in the fourth inning, Bello's workload will likely be more suppressed compared to a typical start, but he'll have an inside track at scooping up a win since he'll be taking the hill with the Red Sox holding a 2-1 lead. Bello has picked up just one win over his last 11 starts.

Bello (3-3) took the loss Friday against the Blue Jays, giving up three runs on eight hits and three walks in six innings. He struck out one.
EDGE Analysis
While Bello's one punchout tied a season low, he was able to record his fifth quality start in a row and seventh of the year. The eight hits allowed were his second-most of the season, but the 26-year-old right-hander will nonetheless wrap up a strong month of June with a 2.87 ERA, 1.21 WHIP and 23:10 K:BB through his past four outings (31.1 frames). Bello is tentatively set to toe the slab next week versus the Reds, who are batting a hot .265 against right-handed pitching over their last 19 games.

Bello (3-2) took the loss against the Giants on Saturday, allowing three runs (one earned) on four hits and one walk with six strikeouts over six innings.
EDGE Analysis
All three runs charged to Bello came via two home runs, including a two-run shot by former teammate Rafael Devers. Despite taking the loss, the 26-year-old has delivered four straight quality starts in June and has recorded 14 strikeouts over his last two outings. He'll carry a 3.31 ERA, 1.41 WHIP and 51:29 K:BB across 65.1 innings into a home matchup with the Blue Jays next weekend.

Bello (3-1) yielded three hits and three walks over seven shutout frames Sunday, striking out eight and earning a win over the Yankees.
EDGE Analysis
Bello delivered his best stuff in a huge matchup against Boston's rival to complete the weekend sweep. He gave up a leadoff double to Trent Grisham to begin the game but only one other Yankee reached scoring position against him. Bello fired 72 of 114 pitches for strikes, including 13 whiffs. He's delivered three straight quality starts and Sunday's performance was his longest outing of the year. Bello is sporting a 3.49 ERA with a 45:28 K:BB through 59.1 frames. He's projected to start in San Francisco next weekend.

Bello allowed four runs (three earned) on seven hits and one walk while striking out four batters over 6.1 innings in a no-decision against Tampa Bay on Monday.
EDGE Analysis
Bello got through three scoreless frames before giving up a run in the fourth and two more in the fifth. One of those runs was unearned, so even though the right-hander was charged with one more run in the seventh, he still was credited with his second straight quality start. Despite allowing a fair amount of traffic on the basepaths, Bello was relatively efficient in tossing 82 pitches (55 strikes), and he logged his second-longest start of the campaign with 6.1 frames. Bello holds a 3.96 ERA, 1.55 WHIP and 37:25 K:BB through 52.1 innings this season, and he's lined up to make his next start at home against the rival Yankees.
